I am a clinical social worker who has been working in the mental health field for over 20 years. My style is grounded in warmth, humor, and curiosity, and I believe each of us has the ability to create meaningful, fulfilling lives.
In my view, the right kind of therapy can help us get there. I help people who are feeling stuck, disconnected, or burned out move towards the life they envision for themselves. Sometimes this means exploring and implementing techniques for reducing anxiety and improving mood and energy, sometimes it means developing an understanding of relational or behavioral patterns that interfere with happiness, and often it means doing both. We will set goals together and work towards them collaboratively.
